Just realized I posted the last 3 or so posts in the general activity stream! So take a look at the activity stream to see my other posts. Even I can't move them to the group for some reason. Anyway just wanted to make sure all of you are keeping an eye on your hives. Nows the time they should be building frames, packing nectar away in the hive at a rapid rate, certainly if you have canola around you. Make sure your adding boxes to your hive if your current one is 70-80% full.
Another tip, watch your queen isn't getting blocked out by all the nectar coming in. The bees can sometimes fill the brood area and she cannot lay, this can lead to bad things. If you recently installed a nuc and notice the brood area and all the frames have been filled with nectar you can gently shake off the bees from a frame or two, make sure the queen has been safely removed before hand, then shake the nectar out of the frames over the grass a couple hundred feet from the hive, then put them back in

This will allow the queen to lay again.
The video is not particularly related but is what can happen if you don't keep up on making room.
